Questions:-What is the differences between page views and visits?

Friday 21 December 2012

Answer:-
A visitor is a user/person who visits our website.
One visitor may view any number of pages. Irrespective of the number of pages viewed during their visit, they are only counted as 1 visitor.
A visit ends when the user is inactive for 30 minutes. If a visitor begins to browse our website after a period of 30 minutes inactivity, they count as another visitor.

Every time a page is viewed, 1 page view is recorded.
Page views record the number of times a page has been viewed within the report period.

Question:-Difference Between Impression and Clicks?

Answer:-
  • Impressions — When someone searches on search engines and your ad displays, it's considered an impression. You can monitor impressions from your Search Engine Visibility Online Advertising dashboard. Even though your ad displays, your online advertising budget is not charged for impressions.
  • Clicks — When someone sees your ad on Google® and they click on it, it's considered a click. Every time someone clicks your ad, your ad budget decreases. You can monitor clicks from your Search Engine Visibility Online Advertising dashboard. While you're there you can review your online advertising budget, because clicks cost money. We can't predict the exact "cost per click." Keyword bids influence costs, therefore rates will vary with every click. Here's a good rule of thumb: The more competition there is in a specific keyword market, the more the clicks cost.

Pages of your website are indexed by crawler to save in its database. This saving process is called indexing. There may be hundreds of pages in your website. But every page will be indexed, it can’t be assured. To check indexing status we use this command, “site:school4seo.com”. This command is used for even keyword mapping.
